Care Certificate Programme
Student Module Guide

Welcome to the Care Certificate Programme

This Student Module Guide has been designed to support you throughout your Care Certificate journey, providing clear instructions on how to work through the modules, complete assessments, and access support.

1. Course Structure

The programme consists of 16 modules aligned to national Care Certificate standards. You will progress through modules in sequence to ensure a structured learning pathway.

2. How to work through the modules

• Begin with Module 1; modules unlock sequentially.
• Engage fully with all learning materials including videos, readings, and interactive elements.
• Complete the end‑of‑module knowledge check to progress.
• Complete reflective tasks where provided—they support your development and understanding.
• Continue this cycle until all modules are complete.

3. Final assessment

Once all modules are completed, you will unlock the Final Assessment.
This takes approximately 30–40 minutes and must be passed to receive your Certificate of Completion.

4. Certification

Upon completion of all required elements, you will be awarded a Care Certificate: Certificate of Completion from TLSPH.
Employers may also complete workplace competency elements where required.

6. Learner expectations
