Participants will learn how to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest, choking, and unresponsiveness, in line with current UK guidelines.
- What will you learn? How to assess an emergency situation safely
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques for adults
- Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Managing an unconscious casualty
- Choking recognition and response
- Recovery position and post-resuscitation care
By the end of the session, learners will feel confident in their ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and provide immediate care until professional help arrives.
