Peter Hudston

Associate Lecture

Peter Hudston is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Public Health at The London School of Public Health, where he has been teaching since 2024. He holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of Wolverhampton and a Master of Arts in Ethnomusicology from the City University of London. Peter’s research interests lie at the intersection of applied ethnomusicology and public health, with a focus on real-world interventions in mental health, community health, and sexual health.

A passionate educator, Peter is committed to mentoring and inspiring students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He regularly teaches courses in nursing, health and social care, and public health, including subjects such as Epidemiology, Public Mental Health & Wellbeing, Health and Wellbeing Across the Life-course, and Determinants of Health and Wellbeing. His teaching philosophy emphasises the importance of integrating cultural, social, and ethical perspectives into health education.
